A Different Kind of Ayahuasca Experience (Part Three)
Friday Mar 29, 2024
Friday Mar 29, 2024
🐓WAKE UP THE PODCAST
In this episode, we have the final part of a discussion with my husband, Michael, as he opens up about his first Ayahuasca experience. If you haven’t listened to his parts one and two yet, go back and get caught up.
Michael’s experience was so radically different from mine. His story is much more involved, too, so we ended up with three parts, and they’re all worth the listen!
In part three, he talks about:
-purging and letting go
-the vivid vision he had
-the connection of past lives
-walking through darkness to find the light
-where he’ll go from here
As I’ve said before, my experience has been difficult to describe with words and I think that’s doubly true for Michael. His story is longer and more complicated, but we’ll do our best to keep it organized. Thank you for listening with curiosity and an open mind.

LTM

A Different Kind of Ayahuasca Experience (Part Two)
Friday Mar 22, 2024
Friday Mar 22, 2024
In this episode, we have part two of a discussion with my husband, Michael, as he opens up about his first Ayahuasca experience. If you haven’t listened to his part one yet, go back one episode and get caught up.
Although we went on this journey together, we knew we had to have our own individual experiences. Michael’s was so radically different from mine. His story is much more involved, too, so we’re breaking it up into three parts.
In part one, he talks about:
-the special blessing he received
-how ceremony two was wildly different from one
-taking an additional shot
-how the maestra helped him purge
-an unexpected encounter he had
As I’ve said before, my experience has been difficult to describe with words and I think that’s doubly true for Michael. His story is longer and more complicated, but we’ll do our best to keep it organized. Thank you for listening with curiosity and an open mind.

A Different Kind of Ayahuasca Experience (Part One)
Tuesday Mar 12, 2024
Tuesday Mar 12, 2024
In this episode, we have part one of a discussion with my husband, Michael, as he opens up about his first Ayahuasca experience. I shared about mine in the previous two episodes if you’d like to go back and get caught up.
Although we went on this journey together, we knew we had to have our own individual experiences. Michael’s was so radically different from mine. His story is much more involved, too, so we’re breaking it into three parts.
In part one, he talks about:
- why he signed up for Ayahuasca
- facing the darkness inside him
- what he learned about coincidences
- a connection he made about healing generational trauma
- and why he chose to share this very personal story
As I’ve said before, my experience has been challenging to describe with words, and I think that’s doubly true for Michael. His story is longer and more complicated, but we’ll do our best to keep it organized. Thank you for listening with curiosity and an open mind.

My Unlikely Trip Into Psychedelics (Ayahuasca Part 1)
Thursday Feb 22, 2024
Thursday Feb 22, 2024
In this episode, I dive into my first experience with Ayahuasca (in the Shipibo tradition). It has taken me a half a year just to put words to this week-long retreat that you, dear listener, might understand. This experience has been decades in the making, and I want to try to give you the most honest and authentic recap of my entire experience.
Also, we’re breaking this convo into two parts so it doesn’t run three hours long because I’m not Joe Rogan, obviously!
In part one, I take you through:
-my fear-filled journey leading up to Ayahuasca
-the intense preparation
-getting to Costa Rica
-an overview of a 7-day retreat
-a peek inside my first ceremony (and I'll tell you where I went)
Like my Ketamine sessions, this experience has been difficult to describe with words, but I’m here to give it my best shot. I hope you’ll bring your curiosity and listen with an open mind.

My Unlikely Trip Into Psychedelics (Part Two: Ketamine)
Monday Feb 05, 2024
Monday Feb 05, 2024
On this episode, I’m spilling all the details of my experience with ketamine at a doctor's office here in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Why I chose to do it.
What I felt like before, during and after.
What I got out of it.
And what I’d do differently next time.
This experience is one those things that’s hard to describe with words so I hope you’ll join me, with an open mind, as I do my best to answer the questions I’ve gotten.
Maybe you’ve been thinking of it a maybe you’re just here for the tea. Either way, I’m happy to take you on the ride.

My Unlikely Trip Into Psychedelics (Part One)
Monday Jan 29, 2024
Monday Jan 29, 2024
Welcome to the introduction to my experience with psychedelics, which I did in 2023.
I spent the entire year pushing myself through the doors of perception through weed, mushrooms, ketamine, and ayahuasca. In this episode, you'll learn why, what I wanted to get out of it, how I decided to try it, what my kids think, and how I deal with the judgment that comes from expanding my ideas about spirituality.
On this episode, Elizabeth asks me the questions many of you have been messaging me this last year.
How did psychedelics get on my radar?
How did I know it was for me?
Was I scared?
And many more.
Join us as we have an open-minded discussion about my experience. I’m not here to tell you what’s right for you, but if you’re curious, I hope this chat gives you something you’ve been looking for.
XO,
LTM

5-Minute Guided Visualization: Meeting Your Needs
Monday Apr 03, 2023
Monday Apr 03, 2023
In this episode we break from normal podcast tradition and instead I offer you a quick guided visualization to meet a need that you may have right now in your life. Take a break and take a breath with this 5-minute guided visualization, in which I will help you concentrate on the now moment, identify an emotional need you have and meet that need by reliving a moment in your past.
You have the control to show up as the highest and best version of yourself. One way to do that is through going inward and taking responsibility for your mood and attitude as you go about your day.
